The Hotel Rex is situated in downtown San Jose, Costa Rica, and provides delux accomodations at incredibly low prices for adult men, traveling single, who wish to stay for one week or longer.   We specialize in providing lodging for men arriving in the country alone, and we don't charge extra for an additional overnight guest, unlike other hotels.   ( Yes, we are "chica friendly" )


We have 8 suites available, all with private bath, fans, and cable tv, some with king-sized beds, some with queen-sized beds, located in a really secure section of town, with washing-machines, dryers and full kitchen available.

Four of our rooms also have high-speed dsl internet cable, connected 24X7 - just plug in your portable computer and go !


 Weekly rates start at just $15 per night, all charges included. Our monthly rates are much lower - rooms range from $220 per month for a single, to the delux double room with king-sized bed at $400 per month !

We are conveniently located in the very heart of downtown San Jose, Costa Rica, only two blocks from the Aurora Holiday Inn and only three blocks from the Hotel Del Rey.

We are actually closer to the "action" than most of the other hotels, and better managed.
